Pete is Comma’s de facto composer of things beautifully twisted. A self-taught musician, Schmidt has always been driven by the desire to stretch his imagination and find distinct new methods for capturing and effecting sound.

Recent Schmidt compositions include the imaginative McDonald's "Spaceman Stu" and the wonderfully quirky score for Herman Miller "This is You". "Spaceman Stu" became so popular in online communities that a full length song was commissioned and released.

Additional musical projects include his rock band Take the Panda in which he takes on the persona of twin brothers Doug and Earl Pandowski.
