Comma will be taking resumes for the Fall 2010 intern session from July 25 - July 30. Only resumes submitted during this time frame will be considered for Fall positions. Interviews will be scheduled during the first week of August. Please read the internship description and submission guidelines below.
Comma Music and Particle Audio offer three internship sessions a year that correspond with the school semesters (Spring, Summer, Fall). Interns work 8:30 - 5:00, 2-3 days a week. Interns are required to work in both the post-production (Particle) and music (Comma) sides of the business, but emphasis can be placed on one—depending on your background and career goals. Internships are unpaid but can be applied to school internship credit requirements.
Over the course of the internship, interns are given a comprehensive look into the day-to-day operations of a professional studio. Intern duties include, and are not limited to, stocking refrigerators, getting client lunches, general office cleaning, etc. In addition to these duties, interns receive numerous hands on and shadowing opportunities in post- and music-production. Employees of Comma/Particle strive for excellence on a daily basis and expect nothing less from interns.
To apply for an internship, please email a PDF of your resume to: internship@commamusic.com. Additionally, be sure to include a cover letter telling us about yourself and your interest in the field, as well as your availability (preferred semester and days of the week you can work). One more thing: Please only send links to portfolio/reel materials; DO NOT attach them to your email. Emails with media attachments will be deleted. Thank you for your time, and Good Luck!
