Comma Music — the award-winning music composition, library and licensing company based in Chicago — is proud to announce Midwest representation by The Standard Society.

Comma Managing Director Bonny Dolan expressed enthusiasm for both the people at The Standard Society and the opportunities that they will help create.

“I’m so looking forward to working with Katy (Richter) and Heather (Gulllen),” she exclaimed. “They are smart, fun, experienced, and we are all on the same page … I cannot wait to see what the future brings as we team up together“

In addition to original music, sync, and sound design, Comma has become renowned for it’s online catalog. Easy to use and tailored specifically to the ad industry, it’s an incredible tool for the branded content world.

“A modern music company needs to be able to provide a musical solution to any project that comes it’s way, big or small,” says Comma Creative Director and Co-Founder Larry Pecorella “Comma is uniquely positioned to do that, and The Standard Society has the same philosophy.”

Particle melds into Comma

In other Comma news, Comma’s post-audio division, Particle Audio, is being folded into Comma and will no longer exist as a separate brand.

“With all the projects Comma and Particle collaborate on, we came to the conclusion that it no longer made sense to continue maintaining two brands,” Pecorella explains. “After twelve great years, it’s the right time to retire the name Particle and continue to do post audio in the same space but through the Comma label. Many incredible people in the industry have worked for or gotten their start at Particle and it’s something we are immensely proud of.“
